Education and Teaching

Dr Francois Tarragano is an interventional cardiologist at the Lariboisière Hospital in Paris, he has been the head of the Cardiac Department of Paris Hospital since 2010 and head of the Catheterisation laboratory of the American Hospital of Paris since 2008. He completed his training in Paris and Lille, before taking up his position at the Paris Hospital.

Dr Francois Tarragano is also a teaching physician at Lariboisiere Hospital Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris APHP.

Clinical expertise

Dr Francois Tarragano has a clinical interest in: ischaemic heart disease; acute and chronic coronaropathy; acute myocardial infraction and chronic total occlusion; transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI); left atrial appendage closure (LAA); closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO); resistant high blood pressure; and renal denervation.

Dr Francois Tarragano is also trained in acute angioplasty and chronic CTO, structural cardiology with LAA and PFO and renal denervation.
