Biography

Dr Jaymin Morjaria is a consultant in respiratory medicine who treats private and NHS patients at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals.

Dr Morjaria graduated in 2000 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (part of Queen Mary, University of London). He went on to research severe asthma and in 2009 he gained his doctor of medicine (MD) in the subject from the University of London.

In 2010, he completed his specialist training. Then for five years, until August 2015, Dr Morjaria worked at the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

While he was in Yorkshire, he led the airways service and saw patients with general respiratory conditions including pulmonary malignancies. He was also the principal investigator (pharma- and investigator-led) in a number of research studies on airway diseases, bronchiectasis and cough.

Teaching

Dr Jaymin Morjaria has taught medical students, junior doctors and healthcare professionals in both primary and secondary care. He has also lectured and presented at local, national and international meetings.
