Treatment for ‘sudden death syndrome’ performed at Arab Health
A life-changing surgical myectomy for the management of Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy was performed by our leading consultants – Mr Fabio De Robertis and Dr Antonis Pantazis this week at Arab Health 2017. The simulation was the first-time that RB&HH performed the procedure in the Middle East, and it has been met with great interest.
The procedure provides hope to patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, an inherited heart disease, which affects as many as 1:500 people across the world.
